Photograph of a Real Fly presents the process of Versions and Variations and the mechanics of photography through expanding and contracting elements. Beginning with a single photograph of a fly, I then edited the resulting images a total of 800 times.  The versioning that happens in my photographic work is the pre through post processing of image making. Making decisions before, during, and after photographing my subjects and with the delivery of the images and the interactions of the images with my users. My website Photograph of a Real Fly shows this process.  It uses an entire website to show the different images and different ways of viewing them. I do this by using different image galleries and slideshows and a variety of viewing options and differing combinations of images and iterations.
